Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By creating an account or using SameVid AI (the "Service", at samevid.com), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts

• You can sign in with Google or with a one-time link sent to your email. You must provide accurate information and keep access to your email and Google account secure. Activity under your account is your responsibility; tell us promptly about any unauthorized use.
• You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age required where you live) to use the Service.
• One person may not operate multiple accounts to claim the sign-up credits more than once; we may block such attempts and close those accounts.

3. Photos and Likeness

SameVid AI turns trending videos into templates: you upload a photo for each person in the template, and the Service makes the same video starring them. By uploading a photo you confirm that:

• the photo shows you, or a person who has given you permission to use their likeness in this way;
• you will not upload photos of minors without their parent or guardian's consent;
• you will not use photos of public figures or celebrities to impersonate them;
• the resulting video will not be used to create or spread content that is sexual, hateful, harassing, or defamatory, or that is intended to deceive — for example, passing the video off as real footage of a real person.

You are responsible for how you share the videos you create. We may refuse to generate, remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, without refund of used credits.

4. Credits and Payment

• The Service is paid for with credits, bought in one-time credit packs or received through subscriptions. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars, or in euros at the same amounts for visitors in the euro area. Prices and offers may change; the price shown at checkout applies.
• What a video costs. Each template has a fixed credit cost, shown on the Generate button before you start: Raindance (8 seconds) 60 credits, Hotel Lobby (15 seconds) 110 credits, Gas Station Dance (15 seconds) 110 credits, and Tip Toeing in My Jordans (12 seconds) 330 credits. Templates and their costs may change; the cost shown before you generate applies.
• Credit packs (one-time): Basic (150 credits, $9.99), Growth (600 credits, $29), Pro (3,500 credits, $99), Studio (9,000 credits, $199), Max (30,000 credits, $499). Pack credits never expire.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Monthly: Basic ($29.90/month, 1,000 credits per month), Pro ($49.90/month, 3,000 credits per month), Studio ($99.90/month, 8,000 credits per month). Yearly, billed once a year: Basic ($100/year, 4,000 credits), Pro ($500/year, 40,000 credits), Studio ($600/year, 60,000 credits); the whole year's credits are granted at the start of the billing year. By subscribing, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period until you cancel.
• Subscription credits are valid for the current billing period only: monthly credits expire at the end of that month's period, yearly credits at the end of the billing year. Unused subscription credits do not roll over.
• Pack credits, subscription credits and any free credits share one balance; the credits you received earliest are used first.
• Canceling: you can cancel any time from Settings → Billing → Manage subscription. Canceling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active, with its credits, until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not give prorated refunds for partial periods, except as described in the Refund Policy.
• Credits cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, except as described in the Refund Policy.
• Redemption codes. We may give out codes that add credits to your account. Redeem them in Settings → Credits. A code may limit how many times it can be used and may expire; credits from a code never expire unless the code states an expiry date.
• Sign-up credits. New accounts receive 10 free credits that never expire. This offer may change or end at any time.
• Failed videos are never charged: if a video errors, is refused by a safety filter, or times out, its credits return to your balance automatically. A video that completes but that you don't like is not a failure.

5. Acceptable Use

In addition to Section 3, you agree not to use the Service to:

• create sexual content, or any content sexualizing a minor or anyone who appears to be a minor — absolutely and without exception;
• infringe copyright, trademark, publicity, or other rights of any party;
• create content that is illegal where you live or where we operate, promotes violence or self-harm, or constitutes harassment, hate, or fraud;
• probe, overload, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its providers, or circumvent safety filters, rate limits, or the sign-up credit limits.

6. Your Content and Generated Videos

• Your uploads remain yours. You grant us a limited license to host and process them solely to operate the Service — sending them to AI video providers to make your videos. We do not use them to train our own models.
• Generated videos are AI-generated and carry the sound of the original trend. Subject to these Terms and to third-party rights (including the rights of the people depicted and of the original trend's music), we grant you a license to use your videos for personal and commercial purposes.
• AI models can produce similar outputs for different users; we cannot guarantee uniqueness, and you are responsible for verifying that your use does not infringe third-party rights.
• You can ask us to delete your photos and videos at any time by emailing support@samevid.com or through our contact form.

7. Availability

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis: we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, generation speed, or that any given template or provider remains offered.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by emailing support@samevid.com; if you have an active subscription, cancel it from Settings → Billing to stop future renewals. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, abuse the sign-up credits, initiate fraudulent chargebacks, or create risk for the Service, other users, or people depicted in content. Sections 3, 5, 6, 9, and 10 survive termination.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim; we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date above (October 14, 2026) reflects the latest revision; material changes will be announced in the product. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
