Refund Policy

1. The Short Version

Failed videos are never charged. Credit packs are non-refundable. Each subscription charge — the first payment and every renewal — can be refunded within 7 days of that charge if none of that period's credits have been used; after 7 days, or once any credit has been used, the charge is final. You can cancel a subscription any time from Settings → Billing → Manage subscription.

2. Credit Packs

SameVid AI sells one-time credit packs. Each template has a fixed credit cost, shown on the Generate button before you start, from 50 credits (Signature AI Video) to 330 credits (Tip Toeing in My Jordans); Gas Station Dance costs 110 credits and Hotel Lobby 60 to 110 credits. Pack credits never expire. Video counts below are at 40 credits per video, the 5-second 720p estimate used on the Pricing page.

Pro — 3,500 credits (≈ 87.5 videos), $99

3. Subscriptions

In addition to packs, SameVid AI offers subscriptions billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.

Monthly

Basic — $29.90/month, 1,000 credits per month (≈ 25.0 videos)
Pro — $49.90/month, 3,000 credits per month (≈ 75.0 videos)
Studio — $99.90/month, 8,000 credits per month (≈ 200.0 videos)

Yearly (billed once a year)

Basic — $100/year, 4,000 credits (≈ 100.0 videos)
Pro — $500/year, 40,000 credits (≈ 1000.0 videos)
Studio — $600/year, 60,000 credits (≈ 1500.0 videos)

The whole year's credits are granted at the start of the billing year.

Subscription credits are valid for the current billing period only. Monthly credits expire at the end of that month's period; yearly credits expire at the end of the billing year. Unused subscription credits do not roll over.
Pack credits and subscription credits share one balance, and the credits you received earliest are used first.

4. Canceling a Subscription

You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing → Manage subscription. Canceling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active, with its credits, until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that, no further charges are made. We do not give prorated refunds for partial periods.

5. Failed Videos

If a video fails — an error, a refusal by a provider's safety filter, a timeout, or a finished video that could not be saved — you are not charged, and its credits are returned to your balance automatically. This applies to pack, subscription, and free credits alike. No request needed. A video that completes successfully but that you don't like is not a failed video.

6. Refunds on One-Time Purchases

Credit pack purchases are final and non-refundable, whether or not the credits have been used.

7. Refunds on Subscriptions

First subscription payment: may be refunded in full within 7 days of the charge if none of its credits have been used.
Renewals: each renewal charge may be refunded in full within 7 days of that charge if none of that period's credits have been used.
This applies to monthly and yearly plans alike.
Once any credit from that period has been used, or after 7 days, the charge is final, and partial periods are not refunded pro rata. You can still cancel at any time to stop future renewals.
