The 2022 COLORS performance
On June 17, 2022, A COLORS SHOW published Quavo and Takeoff performing "Hotel Lobby", the single they released together as Unc & Phew. The set is the show's minimal booth: a bright orange backdrop and one microphone hanging from the ceiling, with the two rappers trading verses around it.
The song came out on May 20, 2022 as the debut single from Unc & Phew and the first single from their album Only Built for Infinity Links, produced by Murda Beatz, Keanu Beats and Fabio Aguilar.
How the AI version took off
In September 2026, AI edits of the performance spread across TikTok and X. Each one keeps the booth, the camera and the track and swaps the two rappers for other people. Quavo shared the original performance on his own accounts on September 23 as the edits kept spreading.
